Christmas Letter

December 2014
To Our Family and Friends,

2014 was a great year for the Coons family! In May we welcomed our first son, Caleb Bradley Coons into the family and our life has forever changed. He has brought so much joy into our home and our hearts are bursting from all the love. It is amazing how much one tiny little child can affect your life!

At the beginning of this month we were accepted into the University of Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. It has been a long process but we are so proud of Brad for getting into his top choice school! We cannot wait to move back to The Bay to be close to family and enjoy the beautiful sunshine! Brad will start school in July so we are enjoying Provo for as long as we can.

Brad has stayed very busy this year finishing school, working full-time, applying and interviewing at dental schools, and spending any extra time he has with Rachel and Caleb. Brad will graduate in April and plans to continue working as a dental assistant full-time while fitting in his last classes until dental school. He also recently joined the crossfit craze so next time you see him make sure to mention he is looking strong;).

Rachel is loving life as a stay at home mom. She currently works from home as a health insurance agent, doing about 10-15 hours a week. In June she also started teaching evening fitness classes (Zumba, Cycle, and PiYo) at Utah Valley University. She still manages to fit in running as often as possible. She ran her first half-marathon after Caleb was born in October and can’t wait to run more races!

Caleb is our happy little guy who smiles and makes friends just about anywhere we go. It is amazing how fast the time has flown by…we wish it would slow down! He has become quite the “daddy’s boy” and loves to get thrown around and tickled by Brad.

As we look back on this past year we are so grateful for all the joy that has been in our lives. We know that our Heavenly Father has blessed us. We are grateful for this holiday season and the opportunity we have to reflect on the life of the Savior. May you have a wonderful Holiday filled with love and happiness. What a beautiful life!

Merry Christmas!

The Coons
