Pumpkins and Cookies!

For family home evening this week Brad and I went over to Kara and Taylor's to carve pumpkins and decorate sugar cookies. Little did I know that Brad is a pumpkin carving king and Taylor is a decorating freak. Kara and I felt a little NOT-crafty that night compared to our husbands. I think we have our Mom to thank? That's ok, we play sports:)

  1. The pumpkins look great! We are pretty serious about our pumpkin carving over here too. And, the cookie thing sounds about right. In our house it's not just Aaron taking care of the cookies, I'm happy to join in. Maybe it's a Coons thing and not just a guy thing?

  4. It is Lyndsey who brought pumpkin carving to such a finely developed art when she and Matt moved in after they graduated BYU. Before Lyndsey it was your basic jack o' lantern with triangle eyes, nose, and jagged, toothy smile...

  5. Well, your pumpkins sure put ours to shame...We definitely did the triangle eyes and classic mouth - but we did spice it up a little doing the special ears that Dad used to do :)
